WebsPlanet opens an office in the US

NEW YORK, May 4, 2010: WebsPlanet is expanding, and most recently we opened an office in the US to support our fast growing customer base in the US, Canada and South America. Located in the New York area, WebsPlanet USA is a central operational office that will serve as our American support organization. We opened this office as part of our global growth plans and we will expand our presence regionally in the US as customer demand increases. If you’ve come into contact with us, you’ll know that close and constant customer relationships are extremely important to WebsPlanet, so this is a welcome move not only for our customers but also for us.

We are pleased to welcome Alf Poor to the WebsPlanet team as General Manager for our American activities. An experienced, hands-on executive, Alf has served in a variety of management roles in both the directory publishing and most recently, in financial services industries, where he was COO for The Relegence Corporation, a real-time search and information service that was acquired by AOL in 2006. He has a track record of successful complex system integrations with several multi-national Wall Street firms, providing clients, including Bloomberg, Dow Jones, Credit Suisse, UBS, Fidelity, Deutsche Bank, JP Morgan and the Bank of America with outstanding service in terms of operational, client support and business development activities. With our new US office and with Alf on board we look forward to offering our customers even higher levels of operations and support.
